Homelessness is the largest social and public health crisis in California. Illumination Health + Home is a growing non-profit organization dedicated towards disrupting the cycle of homelessness by providing targeted, interdisciplinary services in our recuperative care centers, emergency shelters, housing services and children’s and family programs. IHH currently has 13+ facilities with 22+ micro-communities scattered across Orange County, Los Angeles County and the Inland Empire.
Job Description
The Talent Acquisition Specialist focus will be beginning-to-end recruitment process; from creating job descriptions and posting job ads online to interviewing candidates and assist in selecting the best possible candidate.
The pay range for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience. This position will need to travel to all our sites located in Orange County, Los Angeles County and Inland Empire.
Responsibilities
- Operate as the point of contact and lead in the life cycle of the hiring process including but not limited to: Strategic candidate sourcing and applicant tracking, initial phone screens, organizing all interview phases, reviewing resumes, communicating with hiring managers about applicants, communicating with candidates about final decision making, and onboarding coordination.
- Strategic alignment of current headcount and ability to forecast future staffing needs with organizational growth
- Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS), HRIS, and recruitment marketing platforms.
- Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing tools and methodologies.
- Consult with leadership and hiring managers on job descriptions and position requisitions
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Demonstrated assertiveness and initiative in taking ownership of tasks and driving them to completion.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Preferred Experience/Minimum Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree with a preferred focus in business or other related fields,
- 1-3 years’ experience in recruiting/talent acquisition with internal recruiting experience
- Knowledge of appropriate software including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, Microsoft PowerPoint, and HRIS system UKG Ready
- SHRM certification
